Hidden behind a dark façade in East London, The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & UnNatural History is a place unlike any other. Part art installation, part Victorian curiosity cabinet, and part descent into joyful madness, this tiny museum crams hundreds of the world’s weirdest objects into a single, dimly lit basement.

The exhibits are unlabelled and densely packed, forcing visitors to stumble upon mummified body parts, shrunken heads, antique medical instruments, occult artifacts, erotic art, pickled creatures, and celebrity detritus. One case may hold tribal fetishes; the next, a preserved two-headed lamb. The skull of a cyclops sits beside the pubic hair of a 20th-century icon. Nothing is explained—and that’s the point.
