The Viking Museum – Stockholm

Located on Djurgården in Stockholm, the family friendly The Viking Museum offers an engaging exploration of Viking history and culture. The museum features interactive exhibits that delve into various aspects of Viking life, including their roles as traders, explorers, and settlers. Visitors can learn about the daily lives of Viking women, children, and men, as well as their beliefs and mythology.

A highlight of the museum is Ragnfrid’s Saga, an eleven-minute ride that takes guests on a journey through 10th-century Europe, following the story of a Viking named Harald. This immersive experience combines storytelling with visual and auditory effects to bring the Viking Age to life.

The museum also hosts various events and activities throughout the year, such as guided tours in multiple languages, workshops, and seasonal celebrations like the Midsummer Blot.
