Ramones Museum

Ramones Museum is the world’s only museum dedicated entirely to the iconic American punk band, located in Berlin since 2005. Founded by super‑fan Florian “Flo” Hayler, the museum features over 1,000 authentic artifacts spanning the band’s career from 1974–1996, including posters, handwritten lyrics, stage‑worn clothing, instruments, vinyls, amps, and rare photographs.

Originally opened in Kreuzberg, moved to Mitte in 2008—where Arturo Vega (the band’s artistic director and logo designer) helped curate it—before relocating back to Kreuzberg in 2017 and again in 2024 to Neukölln’s Weserstraße, adding a small bar‑café vibe under the name “19:77”.

The exhibit is arranged chronologically in cozy, basement‑style rooms that guide visitors through punk history—from early gig flyers and CBGB-era leather jackets to Johnny’s stage‑worn jeans and final concert relics. A graffiti‑covered wall bears the signatures of visiting punk legends, and a small stage hosts occasional acoustic performances—emphasizing the museum’s communal, DIY spirit.

More than a static display, the museum-bar hybrid serves drinks and vegan snacks, offering a space where punk fans can soak in the rebellious atmosphere, watch screenings, and live the ethos of “Hey! Ho! Let’s Go!”.
